Fezzes

These are the three fezzes that I bought during my stay in Cairo.

The first one that I bought (last Ramadan) is on the left, the classic fez (tarboosh), while the second one is on the right (it's more of a Tunisian chechia, with the extra long tassel).

The one in the middle is the latest fez I bought, and it's for my best friend (who, unfortunately, is unable to pursue his studies here for medical reasons - for now). It's called the Azhari fez, and is normally worn by the scholars, clerics and alumni of Al-Azhar. It is also seen always as a turban ([link].
